The former Fire and Rescue Jetty (Jeti Bomba) at Jalan Residency near the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge is temporarily closed until further notice, the Public Works Department (JKR) under the Ministry of Development announced.
According to a department statement the jetty is considered unsafe due to damages.
The closure is to conduct technical assessment for repairs.
The department advised the public to use the jetty drop-off to Temburong. They are also urged to practise safety and follow road signs along the area.
