Some 88 students in the Temburong District received school supplies during the back-to-school charity programme held yesterday. Organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the initiative took place simultaneously across all four districts.
Among the recipients were Md Danish Izzuddin and Nor Aisyah Aqilah, who each received a school bag and other essential supplies to prepare for the upcoming academic year.
Parents expressed gratitude for the assistance, noting the relief it provided amidst financial challenges. “This support means a lot to us,” shared one parent. “It would have been difficult to secure these items on our own.”
The programme aimed to ensure that orphans and underprivileged students are well-prepared and motivated to start the 2025 school year, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to community welfare. – Fadley Faisal
