Officers and staff of the Temburong District Office as well as mukim penghulu and village heads from the district attended an HIV awareness programme on Saturday.
The HIV Awareness Programme for Peers and Youth (HAPPY) was facilitated by President of the Brunei Darussalam AIDS Council (BDAIDSCouncil) Iswandy bin Ahmad.
According to BDAIDSCouncil, HAPPY is a youth-led project focussed on raising HIV awareness, as well as teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
The two-hour programme combined audio, visual and interactive activities to deliver in the context of the Sultanate.
