The Mosque Affairs Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through the Muslimah Affairs Division in collaboration with the RPN Kampong Rataie Mosque Takmir Committee held an Al-Quran Reading Competition for Mosques’ Muslimah Nationwide Temburong District Level for 2022 recently.
Head of Muslimah Affairs Division Noraini Yanti binti Haji Hussin attended the event at the mosque as guest of honour, who later presented prizes to the winners.
The competition aimed to provide Muslimah with experience in reading Al-Quran before an audience and served as a platform to showcase recitation skills.
Other objectives included educating participants and attendees on lessons contained in Al-Quran.
