    Teenager remanded for 2 days for posing as doctor in Malaysian hospital

    BERNAMA – A teenage girl arrested for allegedly trespassing and impersonating a doctor at a government hospital in Serdang, Malaysia has been remanded for two days until Saturday. 

    Magistrate Muhammad Bukhori Md Ruslan issued the remand order on the 14-year-old suspect on Friday to facilitate investigations under Sections 448 and 170 of the Penal Code for trespassing and impersonating a civil servant.

    The teenager, dressed in orange lock-up attire, was escorted by police to the Sepang Court Complex at about 8.40am on Friday.

    On Thursday, Sepang police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said the teenager was arrested at 9am at the Hospital Sultan Idris Shah lobby in Serdang.

    He said police also seized scrubs and a lanyard belonging to a hospital.
