A contingent from the Belait District Office and the Belait District Religious Affairs Office has continued the Tedarus Al-Quran Ceremony at Zainab Mosque, Lumut on Tuesday.
Acting Belait District Officer Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad participated accompanied by Head of Religious Officer from the Belait District Religious Affairs Office Mohamad Aliyani bin Ismail.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Acting Belait District Officer followed by the mass recitation of Tedarus Al-Quran, Tahlil and Doa Arwah.
The contingent then broke their fast followed by mass maghrib prayer led by Mosque Affairs Officer Md Didi Normady bin Haji Ahmad.
The ceremony serves to help further celebrate the month of Ramadhan at mosques, suraus, and religious halls while strengthening ties with the communities.
