PERTIWI organised an opening ceremony for the association’s Tedarus Al-Quran for the holy month of Ramadhan at Kampong Kilanas Mosque yesterday.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar before the recitation of Al-Quran.
PERTIWI Vice President Hajah Ramlah binti Haji Abdul Ghani led the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the participants reciting Surah Al-Baqarah.
PERTIWI Chairlady Hajah binti Haji Abdul Wahab recited Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam followed with Tahlil by Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Ahmad.
The gathering aims to bring members closer to Allah the Almighty, while also helping to strengthen ties and support the mosque during Ramadhan. – Lyna Mohamad
