Thirteen teams comprising four members per team competed in a series of challenges across Pekan Seria in the Black Gold Journey held as part of a three-day 40th National Day carnival.
Organised by the Minda Youth Movement (MYM), the event was held at the parking lot of Pusat Insani yesterday.
The teams ventured to several scenic locales in Pekan Seria to complete the challenges in the shortest period.
Acting Belait District Officer Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, as the guest of honour, presented prizes to the winners.
Meanwhile, a patriotic parade was held on Saturday.
Some 48 vendors, featuring local businesses and small and medium enterprises set up booths selling food, drinks and handicraft. – Daniel Lim
