Some 14 individuals comprising managers, players and committee members of the Youngster Football Club (YFC) participated in a Doa Selamat and Hajat prayer, in preparation for the upcoming PSC (Penang Sports Club) International 7’s Veterans Football Tournament in Penang, Malaysia.
Held at the residence of a member in Kampong Perpindahan Tungku, the event served to gain blessings and good fortune for their participation in the upcoming competition.
Their founder Dr Haji Kamaruddin DSP Haji Talib said their involvement in the tournament represents an annual activity for the team.
“We have regularly competed in such tournaments each year, which aim to promote a healthy lifestyle, while also strengthening the relationship between not only among our team members but also with other teams from across the region.” – Daniel Lim
