Nearly 100 young players attended a team-building programme organised by Projek Ikan Pusu (PIP) at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex yesterday.
The programme, supported by Yakin Football League, gave the players an opportunity to build relationships and improve their skills. The event was participated by players aged between five and six.
PIP head coach Haji Omar bin Haji Jamil said, “We want every child to have the opportunity to learn the basics of football and futsal taught by AFC and FIFA certified coaches.” The head coach added that “PIP is the most successful grassroots programme pioneer in Brunei Darussalam”, due to its consistency in junior football and futsal tournaments. – Fadhil Yunus
