Team 1003 from Chung Hwa Middle School, Bandar Seri Begawan dominated the Telusuri Bandar Brunei Challenge programme, organised by the Brunei History Centre, by taking all top three spots yesterday.
The first-placed team members included Branson Chen Po Hua, Abdul Malik and Lawrence Thien Zhi Feng. Second place went to Muhammad Aamirul Afeef, Darren Fong Zu Min and Baby Delisha Wong Jing. The third-place team featured Muhammad Amin, Syazani Azhar and Ethan Wee Kai Rong. Team 1036 from Awang Semaun Secondary School, comprising Abdul Muttaqim, Md Syafiuddin and Mohammad Waliuddin, finished fourth.
Acting principal of the Brunei History Centre Pengiran Hajah Mahani binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad presented the prizes. Acting Deputy Principal Dr Mardiah binti Haji Ramli was also present.
Ten teams, each comprising three, participated in the event starting and ending at the Brunei History Centre.
The programme, in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association, was held during the second term school holidays as a continuation of the Bicara Sejarah programme. – Lyna Mohamad
