Teachers visit Royal Regalia Museum

A delegation comprising 30 Travel and Tourism subject teachers from government and private secondary schools visited the Royal Regalia Museum recently.

The delegation was welcomed by Museum Officer Jahrani binti Haji Abas.

This educational visit was one of Subject Based Committee (SBC) Travel and Tourism’s professional development activities outlined in its action plan for 2022.

The visit was organised by Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien College (SOASC).

The visit’s main objective was to assess visitor’s appeal of one of Brunei’s tourist attractions that students are familiar with. The visit also allowed teachers to analyse features or products and services provided on site and helped in delivering content on ‘Features of Location or Attractions’ case study.

Secretary of SBC Travel and Tourism from Sayyidina Husain Secondary School Hajah Latifah binti Haji Sawal presented a certificate of appreciation and souvenier to Jahrani on behalf of the Royal Regalia Museum and certificates of appreciation to Dayangku Dewi Aida binti Pengiran Suhaili and Kartina binti Haji Salim from SOASC for organising the visit.
