Twenty teachers from various public and private schools and colleges recently visited Marsya Farm in Kampong Sungai Liang, Belait District.
The delegation was welcomed by farm owner Haji Awang Muliadi bin Awang Moksin.
The teachers attended a briefing before touring the farm.
At the end of the visit Subject Based Committee (SBC) Commerce Secretary Siti Rouzillawatty binti Dato Paduka Haji Wahabi from Raja Isteri Girls High School (STPRI) presented a certificate of appreciation and souvenir to Haji Awang Muliadi.
The educational visit was one of SBC Commerce’s professional development activities outlined in its action plan for 2022. The visit was organised by Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School with the aim of obtaining a better understanding and knowledge of how Marsya operates to enable teachers to deliver contents for its commerce lessons using local examples.
