Some 50 teachers from government secondary schools, colleges and sixth form centres, along with officers from the Department of Schools at the Ministry of Education (MoE), visited the Faculty of Integrated Technologies (FIT) at Universiti Brunei Darussalam recently.
The delegation led by Senior Special Duties Officer (Professional) at the Department of Schools Haji Metusin bin Haji Jais and was welcomed by Dean of FIT Senior Assistant Professor Dr Juliana binti Haji Zaini.
A presentation was delivered by Deputy Dean of Academic and Student Affairs Associate Professor Dr Malik Muhammad Nauman, covering the faculty’s offers, admission criteria and key statistical data, before a guided tour and a question-and-answer session concluded the visit.
Organised by the Career Education Unit at the Department of Schools, the visit aimed to enhance career teachers’ understanding of university programmes available, entry requirements and career prospects.
