Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College teachers received laptops during a distribution from March 7-10 at the ICT Lab 1 and Science, Information and Technology (SIT) building of the college.

The provision of laptops and Internet data for tutors and underprivileged students is a project under the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA). It is a three-year leasing project aimed at supporting teachers and underprivileged students for online teaching and learning. The Internet data activation starts on April 1.

The college’s principal Dayangku Hajah Nooramaliatifah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad thanked the Brunei Government and the parties concerned for the contribution.

She also hoped that the opportunity will improve teaching quality and learning.

Mathematics teacher Dr Ernie Sofinah binti Haji Matzin said she was grateful that useful apps for teaching and learning have already been installed in the laptop.

Head of Economics Department Koh Hui Shan expressed her gratitude for the provision of Internet data during these trying times.
