The coaching training programme has achieved remarkable success in Brunei, with 78 per cent of government primary and secondary schools now having accredited coaches. The remaining schools have teachers who are either currently in training or will be trained soon, highlighting the programme’s widespread adoption and impact across the nation’s educational landscape.

This significant progress is a testament to Brunei’s commitment to nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and empowering educators to drive positive change in teaching and learning practices.

Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh underscored this in her remarks as the guest of honour at the opening ceremony of the 4th Education Specialists Seminar on Wednesday. The event took place at the Chancellor Hall, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
