The Information, Communication and Technology Department of Berakas Secondary School organised a briefing for Year 9 students about of cybercrime and online scams on July 6 at Anggerek Hall.
The event began with a speech from Deputy Principal Administration of Berakas Secondary School Rosman bin Haji Kasah.
Lead Cyber Security Awareness Trainer from Cyber Security Brunei Pengiran Mohd Farid Zulhusni bin Pengiran Aziz then gave the briefing on cybercrimes and online scams.
Parents and Teachers Association representative Pengiran Haji Mustafa bin Pengiran Haji Chuchu was also present.
The briefing informed students on the dangers of cybercrime and online scams, including measures and practices to prevent and protect themselves and their families from becoming
victims.
A question and answer session was then held followed by the presentation of a token of appreciation to the speaker by the deputy principal.
