The Welfare Body of Police’s Wives and Families (PEKERTI) of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) hosted a talk in conjunction with Ilal Hijrah 1445 at the surau of the RBPF headquarters in Gadong.
PEKERTI President Pengiran Datin Hajah Zauyah binti Pengiran Haji Sulaiman attended as the guest of honour alongside with chairperson Datin Sabrina binti Abdullah Chong. Also present were PEKERTI executive committee as well as other members from the seven branches.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a talk by Ustazah Siti Juhaidah binti Haji Bujang titled ‘Ugama Dipelihara, Negara Sejahtera’.
The speaker highlighted the importance in preserving religion for the welfare of the people and to be close to Allah the Almighty. – James Kon
