The Da’ie Youth Volunteer Body under the auspices of the Youth Religious Programme Secretariat, Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) held a Pejuang Fajr Programme at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque, marking the celebration of Israk Mikraj.
Some 150 people, comprising the public, Da’ie and youth committee members, Ash-Syahadah Youth Muallaf, Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque youth, students from Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPUSB) and University Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), attended the event.
The programme was officiated by Ra’es of KUPU SB Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar and witnessed by PDI Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh.
The programme commenced with mass Subuh prayer, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Mulk led by Youth Da’ie committee member Mohd Syariff Abbas bin Haji Zaini, while the interpretation was delivered by committee member Mohammad Najihuddin bin Nooralizam.
This was followed by a dawn talk on ‘The Supremacy of Israk Mikraj’ by accredited Da’ie of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) Ahmad Ahyad bin Haji Amynoor.
