Government officers visited Lambak Kiri Secondary School yesterday to engage students in a series of talks on community safety, the importance of being studious and social issues.
The talks, part of a wider tour of schools, aim at providing Year 9 students with knowledge on being responsible as citizens. It began with a presentation ‘Kami Peduli’ by the Community Development Department (JAPEM), followed by ‘Meraih Keberkatan Ilmu’ from the Islamic Da’wah Centre.
A speaker from the Islamic Legal Unit also presented an overview of social issues in the community and the role of Syariah law, followed by a discussion on ‘Bahaya Kefahaman Ekstrem dan Pengganasan’ by KAFA.
