Ghalib Fidaye bin Roslan emerged as the champion of the 18th edition of the Best 914 singing competition at The Mall, Gadong on Saturday.
Second place went to Nurul Ariffaniezza binti Norariffin, who also received the Star Best 914 award.
Meanwhile, Awangku Mohd Nur Faiq bin Pengiran Metussin took third spot in the competition.
Acting Director of Radio Television Brunei (RTB) Pengiran Haji Ismail bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad Kifli presented prizes to the winners. Organised by RTB through radio station Pelangi FM, eight finalists competed in the final.
Best 914 was first introduced in 2002 and has since unearthed a host of talents, and among them are Dayat, Rapul Rezal, Neff Aslee, Adeb Titanz, Emel, Ecah, Yaniey Junaini and Habib Adanan. – James Kon
