New students were urged to take the responsibility for their learning and take advantage of what the college provides to sharpen their knowledge, Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) CEO Dr Haji Azaharaini bin Haji Jamil said.
He also highlighted plans to introduce more programmes and pathways in the next academic session in hopes that more students can access higher education level.
He made these comments during the college’s orientation session for new students at the KIGS’ Business Marketing Communication Centre yesterday. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Bachelor of IT student Adib Zainul Zaky bin Haji Abdul Manaf, who also headed the student pledge reading. This was followed by presentations of KIGS corporate video and sections from the college by heads of faculties.
The orientation, conducted by the Student Affairs Department in cooperation with the Student Council, ended with the singing of the college anthem.
