I would like to call on tailgaters to stop believing that it is an acceptable way to drive.
Despite so many public calls to end such a practice, these irresponsible drivers continue to risk not only their own lives, but the lives of innocent motorists who happen to share the same road as them.
What if it were a family of four being tailgated? What if there is an infant or two in the car? What if the tailgater himself isn’t particularly skilled at driving?
If tailgaters want to excuse their recklessness because in today’s world, they are always in a hurry to get somewhere, maybe they should consider learning how to manage their time a little better.
I hope to see more enforcement on these moving offenders, as the roads are unsafe for the public for as long as these irresponsible drivers believe what they are doing is perfectly acceptable.
