    Tahlil ceremony at Royal Mausoleum

    The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) held a Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil recitation ceremony for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and for His Majesty’s late son Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim at the Royal Mausoleum on March 29 in conjunction with Ramadhan.

    Commissioner of the RBPF Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was the guest of honour.

    Deputy Commissioner of the RBPF Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin was also present along with with directors and head of formation, commanding officers, senior officers and personnel of RBPF.

    The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yaasiin followed by the recitation of Tahlil led by imam of Police headquarters’ Surau APO Staff Sargeant 6472 Mohammad Yusri bin Haji Abu Bakar.

    The ceremony is one of the religious activities hosted by RBPF’s religious bodies to enliven and receive blessings in the month of Ramadhan.
