A delegation from the Syariah Court, State Judiciary Department at the Prime Minister’s Office is in Singapore to attend the 65th Singapore Syariah Court Conference (SYC65) and the 65th anniversary celebration of the Singapore Syariah Court.
The delegation, led by Syariah High Court Judge Haji Hassan bin Haji Metali also includes Acting Chief Registrar, Syariah Court of Appeal Pengiran Mohammaddin bin Pengiran Haji Aliakbar.
The conference themed ‘Forward: For Families, For Community’ and the ceremony themed ‘Rooted in Tradition, Ready for tomorrow’, organised by the Singapore Syariah Court saw the participation of high officials of the Singapore Syariah Court, former office-bearers of the Syariah Court Singapore, asatizahs, lawyers, officers and representatives from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia and Malaysia. – Azlan Othman
