The challenges faced by educators in the field of Dakwah were discussed during a seminar – SEMADA 2022 – organised by Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) yesterday.
The seminar, in collaboration with Malaysia’s Ministry of Education and Indonesia’s Universitas Ibn Khaldun, Bogor (UIKA), also covered contemporary issues on Aqidah and its solutions. Twenty working papers with viewership of 800 people through Zoom, Facebook and YouTube were in place during the seminar.
With subjects including Aqidah, Tasawwuf, religion comparison, philosophy, Islamic education, Islamic civilisation, communications and Dakwah management, psychology and contemporary, the seminar hoped to increase the quality of Dakwah in forging strong Aqidah.
A special forum was also participated by Rector of UIKA Professor Dr Mujahidin and UKM’s Islamic Education Faculty Chairman of Dakwah Education Centre and Leadership Dr Muhammad Faisal Ashaari.
UNISSA was represented by its Graduate Education Centre Director Dr Hajah Sri Rahayu @ Nurjanah binti Haji Dollah.
UNISSA and UKM have long fostered relations that was brought even closer with the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
