Berjaya Sdn Bhd, the authorised sales dealer of Great Wall Motors (GWM) in Brunei Darussalam, officially launched the all-new GWM Tank 500 luxury hybrid sports utitly vehicle (SUV) yesterday at the GWM Experience Centre in Beribi.

The launch event was graced by Ambassador of China to Brunei Darussalam Xiao Jianguo and Deputy Director of the Land Transport Department Muhd Syazwan bin Nordin, alongside partners and media representatives.

The event also marked the inauguration of Berjaya Sdn Bhd’s new headquarters and GWM Experience Centre, showcasing the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in Brunei’s automotive industry.

The GWM Tank 500 blends advanced hybrid technology with a luxurious design and robust off-road capabilities, redefining hybrid SUVs in the region.

The vehicle features a 10-year or one-million-kilometre warranty on the engine and drivetrain, reflecting GWM’s confidence in the SUV’s quality and reliability.

The GWM Tank series first made waves in Brunei with the launch of the GWM Tank 300 in January 2024, which quickly became a favorite among off-road enthusiasts.
