    Sungkai treat for 20 orphans

Radio Television Brunei (RTB), in collaboration with Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam, hosted a breaking of fast event for 20 orphaned children as part of the 17th Jalinan Kasih project during the holy month of Ramadhan.

RTB Acting Director Cheong Chee Keong was present at the event.

Jalinan Kasih is RTB’s annual initiative aimed at fostering community engagement by reaching out to those in need. The project also supports the government’s efforts to cultivate a caring and compassionate society while bringing radio closer to the public through various programmes across all four districts.

The event aimed to provide an uplifting experience for the children while reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to community engagement and responsible business practices.

Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam General Manager Miriam Wolber expressed gratitude for the partnership with RTB, stating, “At Radisson, we hope to continue making a positive impact in children’s lives, and this event exemplifies the values of care, inclusivity and kindness that we hold dear.”

The children received shopping vouchers and were treated to a special sungkai buffet. The hotel also extended its appreciation to RTB for their collaboration in making the event a memorable occasion. – Fadley Faisal
