Radio Television Brunei (RTB) and Pearl Café on Monday jointly hosted a sungkai for 42 orphans at the eatery’s premises in Kampong Salar.Acting Director of RTB Haji Azman bin Haji Abdul Rahim presented donations to the orphans.
Soon Lee Heavy Machinery Sdn Bhd Director Ong Chee Mang and Pearl Café General Manager Ashley Tan as well as several private donors were also present. The event was one of the activities under the Jalinan Kasih project.
Since 2009, the project has reached out and helped needy families in all four districts.
