The Sultanate will hold a general assembly and parade procession to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on September 28, with special focus on Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital starting at 7am.
In the Tutong District, it will be held at the Civic Centre Complex, the Municipal Field in the Belait District and the Community Hall Complex field in Pekan Bangar in the Temburong District.
A rehearsal for the parade procession will be held at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien on September 26.
This year’s celebration is themed ‘Sunnah Dihayati, Hidup Diberkati’ and co-organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan. – Azlan Othman
