Brunei Darussalam yesterday recorded one COVID-19 fatality, the Ministry of Health announced in its daily report. Meanwhile, 418 cases made recoveries, bringing the national tally of recovered cases to 231,619.
Three Category 4 cases are receiving respiratory assistance and under close observation.
The overall population that has received the fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine stands at 10.7 per cent, while the coverage rate of the Brunei population with three shots of the vaccine remained at 78.6 per cent.
The inoculation rate for children aged five to 11 with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is at 86.1 per cent, while 61.6 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
