His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa‘adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday visited Vangvieng District in Laos.
Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
The arrival of His Majesty at Vientiane Railway Station was welcomed by President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith. Both leaders then boarded a special high-speed train from Vientiane to Vangvieng District.
While in Vangvieng District, His Majesty viewed the scenery of the district as well as an exhibition showcasing agricultural products and rice. After the visit, both leaders attended a luncheon.
