His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will pay an official visit to Thailand from April 28 to 29.
While in Bangkok, His Majesty will attend a bilateral meeting with Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, established on January 1, 1984.
His Majesty last visited Bangkok in November 2022 for the APEC Economic Leaders’
Meeting (AELM).
His Majesty previously made two state visits to Thailand in 1988 and 2002, as well as an official visit in 2012.
