His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Monday night to hold a courtesy visit to President of Cambodia Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, the monarch was welcomed by the Cambodian president and Cambodia Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service Hun Many.
His Majesty then attended a breakfast, hosted by the Cambodian president at the Rosewood Phnom Penh Hotel on Tuesday.
The courtesy visit highlights the close and long-standing relations between the leaders of the Sultanate and Cambodia in hopes the close ties will serve as a catalyst in achieving shared well-being and prosperity.
