His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) officiated the 11th UTB Convocation Ceremony at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre in Berakas on Thursday.
His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Pro-Chancellor of UTB was also present.
His Majesty in a titah noted that since incepted 15 years ago, positive developments can be seen especially in the publication of UTB research papers.
His Majesty then consented to confer the Honorary Doctorate in Technology Innovation to His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.
His Majesty then presented certificates to the 397 graduates including Doctor of Philosophy to eleven graduates, Master’s Degree to 82 graduates and Bachelor’s Degree to 304 graduates.
