His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended the signing of marriage document and royal solemnisation ceremony; as well as a reception and banquet in honour of the royal wedding ceremony of His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince of Jordan with Rajwa Khalid Alseif on Thursday.
Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
The signing of marriage document and royal solemnisation ceremony was held on Thursday at Zahran Palace in Amman, Jordan, in which His Majesty was welcomed upon arrival by His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, the King of Jordan and Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the Queen of Jordan.
His Majesty then proceeded to the royal gazebo to witness the signing of marriage document and royal solemnisation ceremony between His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein and Rajwa Khalid Alseif.
Prior to leaving, His Majesty congratulated the royal couple on their wedding.
His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein – who is the eldest son of the King of Jordan and Queen of Jordan – and Rajwa Khalid Alseif from Saudi Arabia, were then brought in a procession to Al-Husseinieh Palace.
In the evening, His Majesty attended a reception and banquet, at Al-Husseinieh Palace.
During the reception, His Majesty had the opportunity to meet with His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania as well as His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein and Rajwa Khalid Alseif.
Following the reception, His Majesty was then invited to attend a banquet, together with other special guests which included members of the royal family as well as leaders from other countries.
His Majesty attended another reception and banquet yesterday.
