His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, last night attended a gala dinner in honour of the ASEAN Heads of State and Government, Leaders of Dialogue Partners and special guests of the 43rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, hosted by President of Indonesia Joko Widodo who is also the Chairman of ASEAN.
Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
Upon arrival at Hutan Kota by Gelora Bung Karno, His Majesty was welcomed by the Indonesian President and spouse, Ibu Hajah Iriana Widodo. The event also featured a number of cultural performances.
The leaders of ASEAN and its Dialogue Partners will continue discussions during the 20th ASEAN-India Summit; 18th East Asia Summit; 3rd ASEAN-Australia Summit; and 13th ASEAN-United Nations Summit, today.
