Over 100 students and teachers of STJ PGGMB Lambak School held an awareness event on cleanliness and littering at its premises on Saturday.
The event, organised in collaboration with the Enforcement Division of the Brunei-Muara District Office under the Miscellaneous Offences Act for littering in public areas, aimed to raise awareness about the impact of litter and waste, and remind schoolchildren to always maintain cleanliness.
Head of the Enforcement Unit Dayangku Noradinawati binti Pengiran Sulaiman, and assistant head Sizali bin Md Yassin delivered a talk.
The students also took part in a question-and-answer session on littering, receiving presents for giving correct answers.
School headmaster Haji Roslan bin Md Hassan welcomed the officials.
PGGMB secretary general Haji Mustapa bin Haji Masri and head of information section of the association Haji Yahya bin Haji Mirasan were also present. – Lyna Mohamad
