Lambak Jalan Bedil Religious School (morning session) was crowned champion in a quiz competition organised as part of the Hubbul Ilmi (Love of Knowledge) programme, at Pengiran Anak Puteri Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School in Kampong Serusop on Thursday.
Lambak Kanan Religious School (afternoon session) won second place, while Pengiran Anak Puteri Masna Religious School came third.
The programme aimed to strengthen knowledge on religious subjects as well as foster enthusiasm and motivation among Year 6 students before facing the Religious Primary Schools Education Certificate (SSSRU).
The quiz competition, coordinated by the Committee of Leaders of Religious Schools (JKPSSU) of Brunei IIA, is one of the efforts of the Religious School Division, Islamic Studies Department (JPI) under the An-Najah (Success) Programme to support the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) 2020-2024.
District Islamic Studies Officer for the Brunei IIA Area, JPI at the MoRA Suriati binti Haji Awang Mohamad presented prizes to the competition winners. – Azlan Othman
