    Students shine with 18 gold awards in Intermediate Maths Challenge

    Some 113 students from Jerudong International School (JIS), spanning Years 9 to 11, recently participated in the Intermediate Maths Challenge (IMC), one of the United Kingdom’s most popular maths competitions, organised by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT).

    The competition saw 18 JIS students earn a Gold Award, showcasing their exceptional mathematical abilities. The students who received the Gold Award include Paul Abraham, Awangku Athaa Maziz bin Pengiran Mohammad Athaa’ullah, Rishan Das, Amelia Ege, Matthias Fang, Justin Foo, Vivi He, Muhammad Shakeel Aaryan Ismawi, Alex Kaev, Zachary Keasberry, Zavier Koh, Jasmine Lee, Awangku Nik Haris bin Pengiran Adli Firdaus, Jihoon Nam, Rita Naing, Waiz Madani bin Haji Nor Mahadi, Dayangku Azraa Hazamah binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Osman and EV Valentine.
