Some 146 Iqra Al-Quran Reading School and Iqra Primary School students received certificates at a ceremony at the Fire and Rescue Department Hall at Jalan Airport Lama in Berakas.
Islamic Syiar Development Division Head at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Hajah Siti Mahyana binti Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Dr Haji Awang Yahya, the guest of honour, handed over certificates and prizes to the students.
The event was enlivened by Selawat Tafrijiyyah, Dikir Barat and Tarian Zapin by the students. It concluded with a Doa Selamat.
