Jerudong International School (JIS) celebrated the achievement of two of its students at the Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards.
Students Dhanushan Chinniah and Mintong Li attained the Highest Mark in the World for their Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Mathematics A qualification. Mintong also earned the Highest Mark in Brunei Darussalam for five other IGCSE examinations: chemistry, economics, English language A, English literature and physics.
Dhanushan earned the Highest Mark in Brunei Darussalam for his Further Pure Mathematics and Geography examinations. JIS Executive Principal Nicholas Sheehan said, “The accomplishments highlight not only the students’ exceptional talent but also the outstanding support provided by their teachers and families. We are incredibly proud of Mintong and Dhanushan.”
