Ahmad Amani Rasyidi bin Ramli is one of the two Best Student Award recipients at the Universiti Technologi Brunei (UTB) and Micronet International College (MIC) Computing Degree programme and the bridging course in computing programme (BriCOMP)’s certificate presentation ceremony.
Speaking to the Bulletin, Ahmad Amani said studying at the college was initially quite challenging.
Gradually he started adjusting to the learning style, understood more of the information delivered and things went smoothly, he said. “The study sessions were also very enjoyable and relaxed,” he said.
He believed by having the intention of doing better in studies and striving to get the best outcome, helped him with his achievements, as well as prayers to Allah the Almighty for guidance.
“I really learnt a lot from them during the bridging period,” he said.
Ahmad Amani will be pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Computing (Major in Software Development/ Major in Data Analytics at UTB.
The ceremony held at the college’s Jerudong Campus that marks the success of the first cohort of UTB-MIC Computing Degree programme for articulation into UTB and the completion of the third cohort of the BriCOMP programme, began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat followed with the college’s General Manager and Principal Sharon Chin’s welcoming remarks.
The Best Student Award for BriCOMP was awarded to Ahmad Amani while the Best Student Award for UTB-MIC Computing Degree programmes was presented to Muhammad Bazli bin Haji Mohd Jamaluddin Sukri.
Yesterday, a total of 22 students from the BriCOMP and UTB-MIC Computing Degree programme 2022 Intake received their certificates from rhe guest of honour, UTB Vice-Chancellor Datin Paduka Professor Dr Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman.
