The Information Department organised a ‘Get to Know ASEAN’ Roadshow for 200 Year 7 and 8 Rimba II Secondary School students on Thursday.
Head of the International Affairs Desk at Corporate Relations Unit Eddy Iswandy bin Haji Ismail delivered a briefing to raise awareness on the ASEAN community and its motto ‘One Vision, One Identity, One Community’. The students also participated in a quiz session.
The programme was part of the Information Department’s efforts to raise patriotism and regional unity among students as well as appreciate the function and purpose of ASEAN. It also strengthens ties between the department and the community. – Azlan Othman
