Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Primary School organised a mini marathon for its students on Saturday.
Some 1,000 Years 1 to 6 students took part in the event divided into three categories – Category ‘A’ for Years 1 and 2; Category ‘B’ for Years 3 and 4; and Category ‘C’ for Years 5 and 6.
Medals were presented to the top five winners in each category. YSHHB Primary School headmistress Hajah Mariam binti Haji Ladi officiated the event.
The annual event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among students, encourage sporting competition and provide students with a positive and lively experience.
The YSHHB Primary School Parents-Teachers Association also contributed beverages to the students. – Rokiah Mahmud
