Six students accompanied by teachers and officers from the CentrE for the Development of Gifted and Talented Education (EDGE) at the Ministry of Education left for Cambodia yesterday for the 10th ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey programme (APT JSO-10).
The delegation comprises Jerudong International School and International School Brunei (ISB) students.
The students will create a three-minute video revolving around the theme ‘Racing Up Against Climate Change’ and engage in various activities including lectures, lab experiments, presentations and cultural exchanges. The event, held from July 22-26, is organised by the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI) in Cambodia, in collaboration with the ASEAN+3 Centre for the Gifted in Science (ACGS) and supported by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Head of EDGE Dr Mona Aliana binti Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Alimin was present to see the delegation off at the airport. – Lyna Mohamad
