St John’s School in Kuala Belait hosted its annual open day, providing a platform to showcase students’ growth and achievements yesterday.
The school’s Board of Governors Chairman Lee Yin Fah highlighted in his opening remarks that the event was a celebration of student development through various activities and performances.
“This open day highlights the students’ talent and creativity, offering a chance for families and friends to celebrate their progress,” said Lee. The event featured a talent show as well as booths and stalls around the school grounds, where the science booth displayed a range of informative projects, while the English hub offered tongue twister challenges, word games and video presentations.
The mathematics and ICT booths meanwhile, featured puzzles, games and information technology demonstrations, while the humanities booth focused on the green movement project, including a recycling demonstration. – Daniel Lim
