Teachers from Datu Mahawangsa Lambak Primary School organised a trading activity to mark the end of the Mathematics Month at the school premises recently.
Students from Year 4 to 5 conducted sales with teachers while other students participated as the buyers.
Parents and guardians were present to support the children. Students sold food items which included mini-pancakes, cheesy eggs and ice cream. They also sold handmade items including crochet gifts, 3D photos and mini books. Students also participated in a role-playing activity where they purchased and sold items using toy money.
The trading activity aimed to provide pupils practical experience in buying and selling, leading to financial literacy.
