    Students embark on journey to Japan

    Three Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) students left the country to participate in the JENESYS Inbound Programme: JENESYS2024 – JAPAN Students Conference.

    The students are Muhamad Kamal Shukri bin Mohamad Kamal from the Faculty of Islamic Development Management, and A’isyah binti Muhamad Yusop and Ayeesatul Aliah binti Haji Ali Asgar, both from the Faculty of Law Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah,

    The programme, taking place until January 21, aims to enhance understanding between Japan and Asia-Pacific countries while also promoting understanding of Japan’s economy, society, history, cultural diversity, politics and diplomatic relations among students.

    As a programme under the sponsorship of the Japanese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, the students will also participate in discussing education and cultural preservation; energy and climate change; and maritime security and rule of law. – Lyna Mohamad
