Seventeen students from the Islamic Leadership Skills Workshop under the Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) organised the charity project ‘Ramadhan Kitchen 2025’ benefiting 250 residents from Kampong Ayer and nearby areas.
Conducted in collaboration with the Sungai Kebun Sports Complex as the food preparation venue, Ramadhan Kitchen 2025 sought to offer the students the opportunity to engage directly with the community through charitable initiatives, aligning with the Islamic leadership theories studied throughout the semester.
The project strengthened ties between the students and the local community while enhancing their understanding of Islamic leadership. – Lyna Mohamad
